A Quantum Field Accelerator is an obsolete type of transitory particle accelerator which blocks quantum fluctuations in a particular direction, allowing for automatic acceleration in a desired direction (See Quantum Acceleration). Older polaron synchotrons such as the Lunar Polaron-Proton Synchotron use quantum field accelerators, although most of them have upgraded to more advanced systems such as BRB-powered Polaron Acceleration Field Generators.
